To date, nearly 60,000 leaders across the globe have participated in this 2-hour virtual workshop. This includes sales executives, product tams, value 360 and innovation teams, client account teams, to name but some.

On 6/15/23, Melinda presented on “Story Telling Fundamentals" and Data Story Telling" at the Finance Community Analyst/Specialist summit to a group of 90+ participants who were participating in person as well as virtually. Melinda's presentation was very effective and engaging. Melinda showed the power of storytelling, taught the basic structure of story, and provided opportunities for everyone to practice. The materials were presented back-to-back, so Melinda recommended to work with two volunteers a few days before the summit to build their story and then present to the group. After the story telling presentations, the participants worked in teams on an activity including data to build their story and then present to the whole group.
The summit was a very successful event. The participants were engaged and able to apply what they have learned in a team activity. The overall feedback from the participants was very positive. I was surprised that some participants suggested a longer training session that would allow for more group activities. This speaks very highly of Melinda's ability to engage the team. The planning committee will definitely take this feedback into consideration the next time when planning this training with such a large group.
